Info for new residents

DRIVERS LICENSING

New valley residents have 30 days to obtain a NV drivers license.
REQUIRED ITEMS:

• Your current drivers license
• Another form of identification
• Proof of your social security number

You can visit the DMV website for additional information & a list of approved documents.

VEHICLE REGISTRATION

Residents must have liability insurance from a Nevada licensed company.

Smog checks are required.  New vehicles are exempt on their 1st & 2nd registration.
